Notice: pick-your-own season at Thornbury Fruit Farm

PICK-YOUR-OWN SEASON AT THORNBURY FRUIT FARM

Strawberry picking opens on Saturday 14 June, and raspberry picking is expected to begin in early July, depending on the weather. Please check our website or phone the farm shop on the morning of your visit, as fields may close early once the ripe fruit has been picked.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last entry to the fields at 4 p.m.). The fields are closed on Mondays to give the fruit time to ripen.

How it works: Collect a punnet from the entrance hut before you go into the fields. All fruit is weighed and paid for at the farm shop on your way out. Strawberries cost £4.50 per kilo and raspberries £7.00 per kilo. There is no entry charge, but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Please do not bring your own containers, and please do not eat fruit in the fields. Dogs, apart from assistance dogs, are not allowed beyond the car park. Groups of more than ten people, including school parties, must book at least one week in advance.
