Notice: Sunnyhaven Community Beach Clean-Up
Help us protect our local marine life! Join the Sunnyhaven Environmental Trust this Saturday, October 17th, for our annual community beach clean-up.
Schedule: - 8:30 AM: Registration and mandatory safety briefing at the Surf Lifesaving Club. - 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Beach cleaning along the main foreshore. - 1:00 PM: Free BBQ lunch for all registered volunteers!
Equipment: Heavy-duty gloves and biodegradable trash bags will be provided by the organizers. Please wear closed-toe shoes to protect your feet from sharp objects and bring a reusable water bottle. Sunscreen is highly recommended as there is limited shade on the beach.
Note: Children under the age of 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult guardian at all times.
