Fenwick Candle Works: results by product line, second quarter
Fenwick Candle Works sells five product lines. Every unit in a line sold at the same price during the quarter, and each line's variable cost per unit was constant. Each line is also assigned a share of the company's fixed costs for the quarter. A line's contribution per unit is its price per unit minus its variable cost per unit, and a line's profit is (units sold × contribution per unit) minus its assigned fixed costs. The table can be sorted by any column.
| Pillar candles | 4,200 | 14 | 8 | 18,000 |
| Scented jars | 1,500 | 22 | 13 | 9,000 |

Table Analysis (sortable table, Yes/No for each of 3 statements)
Use the sortable table of Fenwick Candle Works product lines. For each of the three statements, select Yes if the statement is true based on the information provided; otherwise select No. Give your answers in statement order (S1, S2, S3). Credit is given only if all three selections are correct.
S1: Every product line with a contribution per unit of at least $7 made a profit greater than $0 after its assigned fixed costs. S2: If the Tealight packs line had sold 100 more units at the same price and variable cost, with the same assigned fixed costs, its profit would have been exactly $0. S3: The product line with the greatest revenue (units sold × price per unit) also had the greatest profit.
