Narrator: You and your friend Felix live in the same student hall. Last Thursday, at the student union's open-mic night, a first-year student called Amira sang a song. Near the end, her voice cracked on a very high note. Felix filmed that moment on his phone and posted the fifteen-second clip on his video account with the caption 'When you should have stayed at home'. By Sunday, the clip had more than eighty thousand views and hundreds of comments, many of them unkind. Felix has never actually met Amira, but her flatmate told him that Amira has stopped going to lectures. A company that makes throat sweets has also messaged Felix, offering him fifty pounds to use the clip in an advert. Felix has asked you to meet him in the hall kitchen to talk about it.
