A history magazine is inviting readers to contribute to a series called 'Pastimes that faded'. Write an article about a leisure activity that was once widely enjoyed, in your country or elsewhere, but is now rarely practised. Describe the activity, explain why it declined, and consider whether there is any value in trying to revive pastimes of this kind.
