“I’ve been climbing at the Vertical Hall for years, and the manager has just asked if I’d like to train as a part-time instructor. They’d pay for the course, and I could do a couple of evening shifts a week alongside my office job. You turned your own hobby into part-time work a while ago, didn’t you? What was it like teaching something you’d always done just for fun? Did it change how you felt about it? Do you think I should say yes?”
