Part 2 email
Part 2. Read the task carefully and write your answer in 220–260 words in an appropriate style for the target reader.
You have received this email from your English-speaking friend Ilka.
“Great news – I’ve been accepted onto the PhD programme at the university in your city, and I start in October! Now I need to find somewhere to live, and I can’t decide between two areas: the old town, which everyone says is beautiful, and Northfield, the new district right next to the science campus. You know the city well – what are the two areas actually like to live in? Which one would you choose if you were in my position? And is there anything about living in your city that a newcomer might not expect?”
