Lunchtime on Radio Brookfield (multiple-choice cloze text)
Lunchtime on Radio Brookfield
Every Thursday at half past twelve, the speakers in the Brookfield School canteen crackle into life and two Year 10 students say, 'Good afternoon, and welcome to Radio Brookfield.' The show was started last year by Amira Haddad and her friend Leon, who borrowed two microphones from the music department and set up a tiny studio in an old storeroom. For twenty minutes they play songs that students have requested, read out the week's sports results and interview anyone brave enough to sit down in front of a microphone. At first, only a few of their friends bothered to listen. Now the show has about four hundred [1] ______, most of them with a sandwich in one hand, and the head of Year 7 has asked whether her tutor group can present a special edition before the summer holidays.
