Narrator: You hear a girl talking to her father about the visits her class has been making to a care home. Father: So, was today your last visit to Beechwood? Amira: It was meant to be, but I asked Mrs Clarke if a few of us could keep going on Wednesdays. Father: Really? You begged me to write a note to get you out of the first one. Amira: I know. I thought we'd just sit there playing bingo, and at the start we did. But then I got talking to Joan. She drove buses for thirty years, back when hardly any women did, and she's got a story about everything. I'm not ready to stop hearing them. Father: So you've come round to the bingo, then? Amira: No chance. I still can't stand the bingo.
