Synthetic practice recording. This is not official exam audio.
Read listening script
Narrator: You hear two members of a youth theatre group talking about the group's online chat. Girl: Did you see Mr Reeve's message about Saturday's rehearsal? It's at the community centre now, not at school. Boy: What? When did he send that? Girl: On Wednesday. But it was buried under about two hundred photos of Callum's cat wearing a paper crown. Boy: Honestly, we should just ban jokes from the chat. Or Mr Reeve could close it and send everyone emails instead. Girl: Nobody reads emails! And the silly stuff is half the reason people open the chat at all. No, what we need is a second group just for announcements, where only Mr Reeve can post. Then nothing important gets lost.
