Narrator: You hear two friends talking about a celebration. Marcus: Zofia, why has everyone brought you flowers? Your birthday's not until October. Zofia: It's my name day. In Poland, every day has a few names, and today is one of the days for Zofia. Marcus: So you get presents twice a year? That's brilliant. Zofia: You'd think so, but it's usually just flowers or a box of chocolates. And my aunts in Kraków phone me, which is lovely, except they always ask about my exam results. What I really love is Polish Saturday school. There are four Zofias in my class, so on this day we bring in a cake and celebrate together, like a sort of club.
